Samurai sword (k1) katana

The focus of the course is on the classic Japanese samurai sword, the katana.

The samurai sword is the cult weapon of Japanese warriors, which is considered the soul of the samurai all over the world. In the Bujinkan, this religious respect is less visible, probably because the origin of the schools dates back to the time before the Edo period, when swords had only a secondary role in battles.

Although sword techniques are included in the densho (curriculum) of all schools, in most of them the opponent cuts with a sword and must defend against it with bare hands or other weapons.

Two schools teach sword-to-sword combat in detail. In the techniques of Kukishinden-ryu, we use the katana (samurai sword), but according to Hatsumi sensei, the techniques were created on the tachi (an old type of sword used in battles). The techniques of the Togakure-ryu sword are based on the famous ninja sword, which, contrary to popular belief, was not straight, but curved like a katana, but shorter.

Getting to know the processes of sword making
Learning the steps of sword care
Understanding how to pass the sword to avoid injury
Practicing Chiburi (shaking off the blood) and Noto (putting away the sword).
Practicing the correct cut using Tameshi giri
Studying the 9 forms of kukishinden ryu and their variations

59.000 Ft / fő (regisztrációkor fizetendő), mely az edzéseken túl minden jelentkezőnek tartalmazza a nyomtatott tananyagokat, egy fém gyakorló kardot (iaito), és egy tisztító készletet. (a kardot természetesen mindenki megtarthatja) Aki ismételni szeretné a kurzust és az eszközökre nem tart igényt annak az ár 38.000 Ft.

Final exam

A vizsga egy külön meghirdetett időpontban kerül megrendezésre, aminek a sikeres teljesítése esetén diplomát adunk. A vizsga megléte alapfeltétele a kurzus ötödik (K5) és hatodik (K6) szintjeihez való csatlakozásnak.

application condition

Sikeres vizsga a Kard bevezető (K0) szintből, vagy minimum 5. kyu fokozat megszerzése a Bujinkan-ban.
