Weapon Academy
The World of Arms - Not the reality of the movies
Thanks to the popularity of ninja movies and modern martial arts trends, the interest in samurai and ninja weapons is enormous. As an instructor, I am confronted every day with the fact that although there is a respect for weapons, people carry a lot of misconceptions with them.
A Weapon Academy The Weapons Academy's modular training system is designed to give students not just a visual experience, but a real knowledge of the effectiveness and use of weapons. Bujinkan's combat system does not promise to be the "only method that works", but it does give you a comprehensive, complex set of topics to confidently wield the weapons below:
- Kardok Swords (katana, wakizashi, tsurugi, tachi)
- Thread weapons (spear, naginata) (lándzsa, naginata)
- Sticks (short stick, long stick, jo) (rövid bot, hosszú bot, jo)
The training provides not only practical but also theoretical background. Notes and lectures on all weapons will help you to understand the techniques on a deeper level. Although many other weapons are practiced in Seijin Dojo training, they are not currently taught in the form of a course.
